The municipality of Escorca is located in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana, declared a Natural Area in 2007 and a World Heritage Site in 2011. Escorca is the least populated, but largest municipality in the Serra .

Its term contains extraordinary beauties, highlighting Cala Tuent, La Calobra, and the immediate mouth of the Pareis torrent.

The municipality has important peaks such as Puig Major, Puig de Massanella, Puig de ses Bassetes, among others.

Escorca welcomes the traveler who wants to enjoy the landscape, culture and gastronomy. The particularities of this municipality have led to the accommodation offer being mainly made up of mountain refuges. In addition, the term has the Sanctuary of Lluc, a place of pilgrimage par excellence of the island because the Virgin of Lluc, patron saint of Mallorca, resides there.

Its peaks, streams and valleys make Escorca the perfect setting for the practice of numerous nature sports, of which mountain biking, climbing, rafting or caving stand out.
