Located on the marine side of the Serra de Tramuntana, Estellencs is the municipality with the smallest population on the island, which however increases in the summer months. Its strategic position offers a landscape of cliffs, cultivated terraces and ancient olive trees

From Andratx, travelling north along the coast on a narrow mountain road with a sea view, you come to this picturesque mountain village. Along the way, the Ricardo Roca viewpoint offers spectacular panoramic views of the cliffs. There is also a bar-restaurant just beside it.

You can take a stroll through the village’s characteristic cobbled streets that blend in with the local topography. The main places of interest include the parish church of Sant Joan Baptista (17th century), the tower of Tem Alemany, a defence tower from the 16th century, and the public washhouses, whose water distribution system dates back to the period of Arab rule.

The village boasts a wide range of hiking options, including a section of the GR 221 Pedra en sec trail (Dry Stone Route) which goes from Estellencs to Esporles and the public estate of Planícia.

Cala Estellencs, 2 km from the village, is a small pebble cove, ideal for bathing, featuring ancient escars, old sheds for holding traditional fishermen's boats.

In spring, on the first Sunday of May, they hold the Fira del Vi i del Formatge (Wine and cheese fair), with tastings of local and craft produce.
