The Galatzó public estate is located in the municipality of Calvià, in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana, which was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in the category of cultural landscape. Galatzó is a mountain estate with a valuable natural heritage, with the presence of endemic flora such as the "estepa joana" (Hypericum balearicum) or the "didalera" (Digitalis dubia), as well as forests of wild olive trees, mastic trees, pines and holm oaks. As for the fauna, you can observe vultures, Bonelli's eagles, hoopoes, stone-curlews and warblers, among many other species. Also noteworthy is the presence of the Greek tortoise (Testudo graeca), much less abundant than the Hermann's tortoise and present only in some areas of the island.

Apart from the natural values, in Galatzó there are very interesting heritage elements such as the "possessió" houses, fountains, cisterns, huts and even archaeological sites. We can discover the natural and ethnological heritage of Galatzó through various itineraries within the estate, while enjoying beautiful landscapes.
