The walk

Today, we will ascend the Puig d’Alaró, which together with its twin mountain, s’Alcadena, towers up like a giant entry gate to the serra de Tramuntana mountain range.

From above to the east, we can contemplate the Pla de Mallorca zone, the Alcúdia and Pollença Bays to the northeast, while in the north, the scenic view covers the Orient valley and the mountain peaks which include L’Ofre, el Puig Major and Massanella.

The impressive ruins of the rock castle await us on the summit of this legendary mountain; it was the last refuge for the Mallorcan settlers of other ages, Christians and Moors, against foreign threats.

Not suitable for: children under 6, children’s pushchair, wheelchairs

You can select more than one refuge in the list, from the "reserve selected" button at the bottom, you can make the reservation.
