Like other villages in the es Raiguer region, the municipality of Lloseta faces the mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana and the Pla de Mallorca.

It is worth taking a walk in the village centre to see the most important buildings: the parish church of Nativitat de la Verge Maria, in the neoclassical style; the Aiamans palace and the theatre, a modern cubic building inaugurated in 2002.

You absolutely cannot miss the opportunity to visit the Teixits Riera handicraft workshop, one of the three in Mallorca dedicated to the design and production of tela de llengües, typical handmade fabrics made with a millennia-hold technique, known as ikat. At the workshop you can buy pillow covers, placemats, handbags, beauty bags, etc.

The modest Bestard Mountain Boots shop, specialising in footwear for mountaineering, hiking and other adventure sports, reminds us where this family business set out on its journey to become an international benchmark for the quality of its products.

Also to try is the cardenal, a typical dessert made of layers of sponge cake, meringue and cream, originally produced in the Forn de Baix, the oldest cake shop in the area.

Another of the most charming aspects of Lloseta is the beauty of its surroundings. The village is located at the gateway to the Tramuntana mountain range, an ideal place for hiking. It is also possible to visit the small Oratori des Cocó, one kilometre from the built-up area.
