Holy Thursday
The Holy Christ of the Blood is a statue representing the crucified Jesus Christ, located in the Church of the Blood. It is the most venerated image in Palma, and its most important event is the procession held on Holy Thursday. During this day, the image leaves the church in the afternoon and does not return until well into the early morning, covering a large part of the city of Palma.
All the brotherhoods of the city participate in this procession, leaving the Church of the Blood in order of antiquity, while the image of Christ closes the procession.
