Teatre principal de Santanyí
This theatre, built with the characteristic Santanyí stone, was inaugurated as a cinema in 1925 and was in operation for more than half a century. In later years, the Town Council bought it and refurbished it maintaining the original structure. In 2007 it was opened to the public as a theatre. It maintains a stable programme throughout the year which includes the performing arts and other activities.
