Landscape, light, sea, quiet, architecture... these are some of the ways Mallorca inspires so many artists. Evidence of this are the many exhibition halls, art galleries and art ateliers found throughout the island.

Lots of events take place for art lovers throughout the year; however, the culture and art event par excellence is for sure the Nit de l'art (Art Night) held every September in Palma. The old town of Palma then becomes an outdoor exhibition space, galleries and museums opens their doors and invite you to enjoy their artwork collections. This marks the start of the cultural season.
