MICE Mallorca

MICE

Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE)

Mallorca has the perfect conditions to celebrate any type of event. On one side, it combines the experience and the necessary infrastructures and, on the other, it has a pleasant climate and an unbeatable environment that make Mallorca the host of important national and international events year after year. Furthermore, Mallorca is the ideal destination to combine work and leisure. Aside from its excellent MICE offer, it is worth mentioning the quality and variety of the complementary offer as well as the countless experiences that Mallorca offers visitors: culture, traditions, nature, active tourism, gastronomy, shopping and wellness, among many others.

WHY MALLORCA?

Connectivity

Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) is one of the most air-connected destinations in the Mediterranean. The main European capitals are less than a 3-hour flight away.

Weather

The Mediterranean weather delights us with more than 300 sunny days a year, with warm summers and mild winters. Spring and autumn are seasons with very pleasant temperatures, ranging from 16-18 ºC on average.

Distances

In Mallorca the distances are relatively short. The island measures about 100 km from end to end and is well communicated with an extensive and well-kept road network, which makes it easy to move from one side to the other. As a result, the island offers a great variety of landscapes and environments that make it possible to enjoy different experiences, even on the same day.

Professionals in the MICE sector

Mallorca has a great deal of experience in the organisation of events and the island has a whole range of professionals dedicated to the MICE sector. All aspects of the event are controlled from start to finish, which is a guarantee of success.

MICE Infrastructures

Mallorca offers countless possibilities at the disposal of the MICE client, depending on the number of users and specialization of the event. From large fully equipped venues to other spaces with a smaller capacity for smaller and exclusive groups.

One of the highlights of the different venues available is the Congress Palace. Designed by the Navarrese architect Francisco Mangado, with a design in the shape of a reclining fish, this venue is located at the entrance to Palma and in front of the sea. Another large space is the Palma Auditorium, located in the Passeig Marítim, Seafront Promenade of the capital, and overlooking the port. But they are not the only venues for events, as the island has an innumerable list of auditoriums and theatres located all over the island's geography, as well as convention centres, multi-purpose halls and unique spaces that make a multitude of options possible. Many hotel establishments also  specialise in MICE and have different types of multi-purpose rooms. For more exclusive events, the historical-artistic heritage of the island offers the opportunity to host events in some of its most emblematic buildings, such as old possessions (rural estates), sanctuaries, old palaces, fortresses or monasteries.

Accommodation capacity

Mallorca has an extensive and diverse range of hotels with unquestionable experience in the tourism sector. There are infinite possibilities to choose the most suitable establishment to hold the event, from large hotels to accommodate a larger number of people to the smallest luxury, through boutique hotels, agrotourism or rural hotels.

Complementary activities

The island offers a spectacular and privileged landscape that allows to liven up the work with the enjoyment of activities and sports in the middle of nature. Natural parks, forests, the sea and its beaches offer ideal stages to carry out these activities. There are companies specialised in the organisation of complementary activities, being possible to combine the days of work with others more relaxed.

Sports

Mallorca is an ideal place to practice sports. From cycling routes or hiking through the Tramuntana Mountain Range, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, to water sports, including the practice of golf in its 24 courses.

Gastronomy

The gastronomic offer combines traditional cuisine, based on local and seasonal products, with a more avant-garde cuisine. You can enjoy it both in traditional cellers, as well as in any of the many signature restaurants, some of them with Michelin stars. In addition to the varied gastronomic offer, there is also the quality of Mallorcan wines.

Wellness

Relaxing and enjoying after a day's work is possible in any of the many spas in Mallorca. Or simply let yourself be carried away by the beauty of its sunsets and its landscapes full of contrasts.

Cosmopolitan Palma

The capital, Palma, has in recent years become a cosmopolitan city that perfectly combines heritage and modernity. Its beautiful old town invites you to stroll through its narrow streets and discover its emblematic buildings. The centre is home to a large number of museums, exhibition centres, art galleries and theatres that promote a varied and dynamic cultural offer. The capital has a wide range of high quality shops and "boutiques" of international firms, as well as small shops specialising in Mallorcan products and crafts, such as Mallorcan jewellery, Mallorcan knitted embroidery and glass.
